Get picked up from your Nadi / Denarau resort and get flown over to the Sigatoka River Valley. Upon arrival at the valley departure point, you are welcomed and provided with life jackets for the impending safari adventure. Safety drills are provided to all, the chief is appointed and you’re off to discover the heart and soul of Fiji. As you venture upriver, you will be left in awe by the amazing natural scenery which will have you reaching for your camera or iPhone to capture moments that will take your breath away.

Arriving at your designed village you will be greeted by your guide who will welcome you like long-lost family. Your village guide will walk you to the community hall to present your “sevusevu” or kava with the designated tour chief receiving the first bowl of kava…BULA!!
Once the formalities are over, you are now part of the village. You will be shown around and be meeting the beautiful Fijian people on their terms, seeing first-hand real village life. From there you will join the community in a Fijian lunch prepared by the women, tasting food and fruits grown in the farm nearby. The Safari tour is all about giving your five senses (seeing, hearing, touch, tasting, smell) a truly Fijian experience.
Your time with your new friends will fly by as you enjoy their Fijian hospitality which includes dancing and singing. The farewell song of Isa Lei will be sung to you and for some tears will flow, but you will leave knowing you have made new friends and memories that will last a lifetime. The Facts
- What to bring: Beach towels, swimwear, sunscreen, sunglasses and hats.
- Booking Times:
- Morning Tour: Pickup at Denarau/Nadi Resorts at 8.30am. Arrive back by road at 3.30pm or Heli return at 2pm.
- Afternoon Tour: Pickup at Denarau/Nadi Resorts at 12.30pm. Arrive back by road at 7.30pm or Heli return at 6pm.
Minimum Numbers: The prices for scenic flights, adventure combos and transfer bookings are subject to a minimum of two full adult fares. Children fly for half price on all scenic’s and combos.
- Ages: 0-3: Infant (Free of charge – on the lap of a full fare paying adult); 4-11: Child (May be subject to a discounted rate for scenic and combo flights when accompanied by adults); 12+: Adult (Full adult Fare)
- Weights: The maximum passenger weight is 136kg. In addition to this we also have a maximum total aircraft weight, therefore passengers 100kgs and over may be subject to an excess weight surcharge.
- Baggage: No baggage allowance.
Cancellation Policy:
- If cancelled more than 3 days before the flight we offer a full refund. If cancelled within 3 days by you, the customer there will be a 50% refund but if cancelled within 24 hours there will be no refund.
- If Heli Tours Fiji cancels the flight, then it will be rescheduled or a refund given.
- If the flight is cancelled through no fault of the customer, a full refund will be offered.
Weather:
- All flights are subject to weather availability. If cancelled due to weather then we will endeavour to re-book the customers at another time that is convenient or in the case where this is no availability then a full refund will be given.
