• Pricing & Child Policy:
  • infants under 2 years of age FOC (Baggage 5KG).
  • Children (2 to 11yrs) pays adult rate, unless stated otherwise.
• Baggage allowance: 7 kilos.
• Excess baggage: FJ$5 per kilo.
• Minimum numbers: two (2) passengers per booking (Infants ride on adults lap)
• Maximum numbers: 4 to 6 per plane depending on weight.
• Individual weight restrictions may apply to specific aircraft or flights.
• Operational Hours: within day light hours only; typically between 0700hrs and 1745hrs.

Cancellation Policy:

• Cancellations made more than 72 hours before travel will attract a 20% cancellation fee, payable to TAL. Cancellations made within 72 hours of travel will result in a 100% cancellation fee.

Weather:

• Rainy Weather – Seaplanes & Helicopters within Fiji operate on a VFR (Visual Flight Rules) basis. This means that when visibility is affected, we may not be able to fly. Delays can be expected in rainy weather, but rarely do we need to cancel a flight altogether. There are enough windows in the weather throughout the day that allow us to get our passengers to their destination, however our experienced Pilots will always make the final call.
• Stormy / Cyclonic Weather: In this situation, you can expect most, if not all, transport services in Fiji including Turtle Airways to be cancelled until the weather subsides.
• TAL takes full responsibility for ensuring passengers get to their respective destinations. If necessary, this may involve arranging alternative transportation, which may include chartering other aircraft, helicopters, or a speedboat. All costs associated with this, will be assumed by TAL.
• In situations where passengers are stranded in Nadi due to bad weather, TAL will do all it can to assist clients in finding alternative hotel accommodation.
• In situations where passengers are stranded in Nadi, due to there being no other aircraft, helicopter or speedboat available, and/or where TAL fails to deliver due to an internal problem – TAL will cover reasonable accommodation costs in Nadi, as well as Food and Beverage costs if passengers had a pre-paid meal plan at their destination resort.
• Travel insurance is encouraged.
